Bambu Studio -UI over model problem
Am I missing something? When I use Bambu Studio and I try to use the cut tool or the manual support tool- the UI for the tool IS ALWAYS OVER THE MODEL I’m trying to edit! Is there a way to undock the tools and move it somewhere? I’m constantly fighting with the UI hanging over the model so I can’t see what I’m working on.

Check from what level on things like you modified k-factor or flow ratio/max flow rate start to show up… If you follow the Bambu logic it seems rather efficient and in the end the SLICER gets all the required parameters. This structure however makes it near impossible to create proper filament profiles that stick both in Studio and in the AMS.

Get "failed to connect to server" message--nothing works to fix it
I have read all about the recent issues and remedies–tried them all, I just cannot get Bambu Studio connected to the server–my printers are ok, I can see the cameras, but not the AMS, and just can’t send prints over the network—tried downgrading recent firmware, etc. not sure what to do next–I will try wiping out all Bambu related files on the computer and starting over.
Bambu studio becoming VERY slow
Running a W11 mini pc, all was going well so far. Since a couple of days, Bambu studio is VERY slow, fo example it takes 2 mn to load from my HDD a 56kB step file. Uninstalled - reinstalled Bambu studio, but issue remains. Bambu studio 1.10.2.76 All other apps running well on the pc, even when Bambu studio is running and slow Anyone else having the issue ?
How do I print onto an already existing part?
Here is my first pass using Bambu Studio’s “Add Primative” and “Add Text” options. I learned a few things and certainly can improve but in regards to your question it would save you a lot of work to do the text flush. That was with the text reversed/mirrored and against the build plate.

OK, so when looking at model we can select to “follow” a maker. However, where do we get to see a list of those that we follow? I cannot see this in any of the menu’s?

In Bambu Studio, selecting the objects option shows the objects as assemblies with bodies, each of which is assigned a filament, among other settings. To change the color and/or filament for each element, one only need assign a different filament to the corresponding body.
